    1. T.F. Hoad Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the The Concise Oxford Dictionary of English Etymology (Concise Oxf Dictionary Of English Etymology) book, this is one of the most wanted T.F. Hoad author readers around the world.

    2. Este diccionario etimológico de inglés, a pesar de no estar actualizada la edición, es el mejor que existe hasta ahora.Muy riguroso y necesario para todo estudioso de la lengua inglesa en profundidad.

    3. És el producte que necessitava per a les meves cerques etimològiques de la llengua anglesa. Encara que no és una edició recent, en tractar-se de l'etimologia dels mots, em fa el servei que desitjava.

    4. This is really just a dictionary. The back cover mentions some histories of words, but the pages are basically just definitions. Thought this would be a fun thing to have around - it isn't.

    5. Very useful for word nerds like me. This book goes way beyond what is available gratis on the Internet. Although, etymology is more portable. This is the book for more in-depth dives into the origins of our mother tongue.

    6. Concise means giving a lot of information clearly and in a few words; brief but comprehensive. This Etymology Dictionary must be an imposter; so to speak, because there is nothing comprehensive about it and much of the original or root meanings of words are not found in the book when doing comparisons to other etymology writings. Even though the cost was cheap, the funds were wasted, so I would not make a recommendation.

    7. This is not what I was expecting when reading the description of what was ordered, The word sequence is not in depth enough. The book is easily to carry yet not too complicit in its construct of the English Language in depthness as expected.
